This is short track racing at it's best! The Challenger Raceway is semi-banked clay track that measures 1/3 mile on the inside lane and 4/10 mile on the outside lane. The track was originally built in 1991 as a 1/4 mile, and later enlarged to it's current configuration in 1995. The Challenger Raceway features a wide, multi-groove racing surface with banking varying between 9 and 12 degrees, that allows racers to use the entire track area to constantly provide amazing, side-by-side and 3-wide racing excitement! The track features a full range of fan facilities, including grandstand seating, high-quality food concessions, souvenir midway and clean restrooms. Generators provide the electricity for our powerful lighting system that glows in the night. The multi-tier pit area for competitors surrounds the 3rd and 4th turns and the grandstand seating area spans the entire distance of the front straight. An ultra-wide apron surrounds the 1st and 2nd turns and the back straight, giving competitors plenty of room to take it to the maximum!

The Challenger Raceway presents major events throughout the season including PA State Short Track Championships, the Mega-Blitz, Tri-Star Superthunder and PA's biggest short track motorsports event, The Ultimate & Challenger Superchampionships in the FallFest weekend! The FASTEST late model cars on the planet - the unlimited Super Late Models, powerful Semi-Lates, wheel-2-wheel E-modified Sportsman, sleek B-Cadets, rolling thunder Sport Stocks & the wild & wacky Roadrunners are the star attractions of this high-speed thrill show!

The unique special events format allows the best competitors of the region in every division to meet wheel-2-wheel on a neutral battle ground to determine which drivers reign supreme! Every Challenger Raceway event is a like a multi-track championship as it is loaded with winning race teams from the 6-state area! Drivers with a Challenger Raceway win earn the right to claim that they are at the top of their class!
